Account Deletion
Last updated: 14 April 2026
Bible Topics account deletion requests are handled manually. To request deletion of your account and associated account-linked data, email bibletopicsapp@gmail.com with the subject line Bible Topics Account Deletion Request.
How to Request Deletion
- Email bibletopicsapp@gmail.com and ask us to delete your Bible Topics account.
- Include the email address or sign-in method connected to your account so we can locate it.
- If needed, we may ask for additional information to verify that you own the account before we process the request.
What Happens After You Submit a Request
We review requests manually. Once the request is verified, we place the account into our deletion workflow so it no longer functions as an active account. Some records may first enter a recoverable deletion state before final permanent purge is completed.
Data We Normally Delete
When we complete a verified account deletion request, we generally delete or remove from active use the account and account-linked records associated with Bible Topics, including:
- your profile and account identifiers
- saved favourites and favourite topics
- journals, notes, and similar saved study content
- quiz scores, study-progress records, and related sync data
- notification-device registrations and account-linked notification records
- feedback submissions tied to your account
- app-installation links that are no longer needed once your account is removed
Data We May Retain
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or to preserve shared operational history that no longer identifies your account as active. If a device-installation record is also linked to another account, we may retain that installation record after removing your account linkage.
Retention Timing
Deletion requests are not always completed instantly. Manual review, identity verification, and any required legal or operational hold can extend the time before final permanent purge. Bible Topics does not publish a single fixed retention window for every request because the remaining retention period can vary depending on the reason particular records must be kept.
Data Stored on Your Device
Deleting the app from your device or clearing local app data removes locally stored Bible Topics content from that device, but it does not by itself submit a server-side account deletion request. If you created or used an account, email us to request deletion of server-side account-linked data as well.
Privacy Policy
